When it comes to keychain tools, Gerber really does come prepared! This long discontinued Solstice is a great example.
Back in the mid to late 90's a company called Swiss*Tech was making some very cool stuff- tools like this one, the Screwball.
The first thing you realize looking at the Swiss*Tech ScrewZall is that this might just be the simplest, most effective tool you have ever seen. The second thing you wonder is why the heck didn’t you think of that?
Perhaps the most tools in the least package
Anybody heard of this thing? I never knew it existed until I saw a display of them at the hardware store yesterday. A quick review of the Swiss-Tech website reveals there is an "Ultra" model and a "9-in-1" model. Hmmph, news to me.
The first set of keychain pliers I ever got was the small Swiss*Tech MicroTech, which proved to be as solid as the steel it was carved from.
Multi tools I will admit tend to be quite large and cumbersome, even when you do need to use them you never end up need all of the tools that it comes with.
